Fire Season

To the north the fires burn, bleeding smoke into the air for miles. Its after dark and still the air is a hundred ten degrees hot and the wind blows. Lightning flashes, threatening even more fires for tomorrow. The weather channel says chance of thunderstorms but there is no smell of water in the air. So it means only hot winds and lightening. Fire season is here.
